First Football Game is this Friday, Aug. 27th.
Dress Rehearsal is Tuesday, Aug. 24th during practice

Anyone with shoes or other parts of their uniform at home MUST bring it
into school by Tuesday for dress rehearsal.

Please wear or bring Black Socks (quarter-high or crew length is ideal)
for the dress rehearsal and game.

#2:
Experience the fun of meeting and playing with your fellow trumpet players
in a non-competitive and enjoyable atmosphere. Rehearse in ensembles on
Saturday and perform in a concert on Sunday afternoon. There are no
auditions: just bring your horn and pick the parts you want to play! There
are three levels of ensembles: Middle School, High School and Adult;
appropriate for players of all abilities.

The Lakeside Band uses the GMEA All-State Etudes for chair placement each year. You will need to learn the following music:

- Print out the appropriate scales sheet and etude for their grade level (see below)

- Audition with a professional musician on a selection from their scales and lyrical etude (dates announced in class)

- If they wish to audition for District Honor Band and All-State, they must turn in a check in September. details are forthcoming.
